A fire swept through a karaoke bar in South Korea's southeastern port city of Busan, killing nine people and injuring 25 others, police said on Sunday.
The fire broke out in one of the 28 rooms of the karaoke lounge on the third floor of a six-story building late on Saturday.
Smoke?spread quickly through the club, causing?customers to panic, Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.
Customers at the bar were unable to find exits due to smoke, police told?Yonhap.

All of the victims died from inhaling toxic gases, police said.
The victims included three workers from?Sri Lanka.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang before smoke filled the bar, the BBC reported.
"Firefighters believe the fire might have been caused by a short circuit," a police spokesman told Agence France Presse.
About 20 fire trucks and 100 firefighters battled the fire.
